Cold-pressed oils for animals from Sanafino

Firstly;

In general, two types of oils have to be differentiated: the gently cold-pressed oils and the refined oils.

It should be noted that not all oils are equally healthy and valuable for supplementing the feed of animals. As a valuable partner in feeding, only cold-pressed oils should be used.

You ask yourself, why do I need cold-pressed oil in daily feeding?

Whether human or animal, it is almost impossible to cover all substances important for the organism such as fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and good dietary fibres with the basic feed. Furthermore, basic feed often contains ingredients that promote inflammation in the organism of animals.

Cold-pressed oils for animals are a good, purely herbal way to compensate for these deficiencies and prevent inflammation.

Of course, not all oils are the same, and all types of oil have their own special requirements. The only all-rounder among the oils is hemp oil, which covers many problem areas due to its ingredients.

But Sanafino's cold-pressed oils are not only suitable for problems, but also for animals / performance animals that are in daily training. These animals have an increased need for fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and good dietary fibres to be able to use the daily training positively or to build up muscle and condition.

It should also be noted here that it is not the quantity of feed supplements that leads to the goal, but the regularity of the supplementary feeding.

Quality;
Cold-pressed oils for animals from Sanafino have because of their gentle production method, the full ingredient portfolio of the respective seed or the base material used for pressing.

Due to this fine and time-consuming extraction of the oils, it is ensured that all good and healthy components such as mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, enzymes and also less are contained in the cold-pressed oils for animals.

Cold-pressed / refined?
The difference between cold-pressed and refined oils is that no heat is added during the pressing process and the production speed takes a lot of time in contrast to refined oils. It should also be mentioned that the quantities of oil extracted are much smaller than in industrial production.

An important point with cold-pressed oils for animals is also the filtration, Sanafino oils are without exception finished with the heel filtration. In this process, the natural turbid substances settle on the bottom of the oil barrel and the clear oil above is drawn off manually and immediately filled into the appropriate containers.

What causes the price differences?
As specified in the above points and from the following table, the production and quality of cold-pressed oils is expensive. As a result, the pricing is thoroughly different from that of industrial products.

The price differences in "oils" and where they come from.
As specified in the above points, as well as from the following table, the production and quality of cold-pressed oils is costly. This is also the pricing in contrast to industrial products, a wholly different.

Cold pressing
High-quality, time-consuming,
not cheap

Hot pressing

Industrial, fast, cheap

Oil yield

Low to low, depending on the
base material.

Very high.

Price

Not cheap. (Time and therefore labour-intensive)

Inexpensive.(Industrially produced throughout)

Shelf life
Limited

4-11 months

Long shelf life, usually well over 1.5 years.

Advantage

Always has its own identity with associated herbal / medicinal benefits

Neutral, universally applicable

Raw materials

Small quantities of largely indigenous seeds.
Price-intensive

Large quantities, therefore cheap raw materials, mainly from abroad. Inexpensive.

Turbidity

Clear with possible natural haze.

Clear.

Oil extraction

In mechanical pressing, temperatures up to max. 38 °C are reached in the oil.

In industrial extraction, the oil is dissolved with a solvent, then the mixture is heated to approx. 150 °C so that the solvent evaporates.

Filtration

In time-consuming settling filtration, the heavy particles settle to the bottom.

Fast, chemical filtration.

Oil haze

Turbid substances may not look nice, but they are valuable for nutrition.

To prevent sediment from forming at the bottom of the bottle, phosphoric acid is added to the hot oil. Mucilage and turbidity become flocculent and are filtered out

Oil deacidification

Fatty acids (short-chain) are important for nutrition. Sanafino oils are not heated, so there are no problems with free fatty acids.

By adding caustic soda, short-chain and free fatty acids are removed. The resulting soap is sold.(The free fatty acids are caused by heating or inferior raw materials).

Bleaching

Colouring and minerals are desirable. Carotenoids, for example, strengthen the immune system, chlorophyll has antioxidant, antibacterial, detoxifying and blood-forming effects.

The oil is clear and colourless, this is only possible if all natural colouring and mineral substances are removed by bleaching earth pre-treated with hydrochloric acid or activated charcoal.

Fatty acids

Contained in full and in their natural composition.

In the course of the manufacturing process, some of the fatty acids change chemically and oxidize. Above 150 °C, unsaturated fatty acids can transform into trans fats.

Plant Accompanying

Substances Remain as intentional ingredients in their natural composition.

Intentionally removed or destroyed by heat.

Vitamins

Contained in their natural composition.

Destroyed in the course of the production process and often synthetic vitamin E is added at the end, thereby significantly extending the shelf life.

Colour

Always adapted to the raw material.

Colourless to all shades of yellow.

Odour/ taste

Corresponding to the base material.

Almost tasteless and odourless.

Use
